What’s staring back at you loyal blog followers (does that make it floggers? I don’t think the world is ready yet for that moniker) is a drawing I did of my dear friend Spike from the most luscious and brilliant of tv shows, “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.”
Well, I wish he were my dear friend, right now it’s more of an across-time-and-tv-space-non-relationship. I’m currently on my third series run through of Buffy and was inspired to sit down and create my own little tangible of William the Bloody. Completed in less than 2 hours, frankly, I don’t know why I didn’t create a habitat in my sketch book for him sooner, for now he’s there to smolder me some encouragement every time I get in a sketchy mood. Meaning, imminent sketching. Focus, friends.
Speaking of smoldering, how bout an awkward non-sequitur?! Yes, that was a blatant lack of finesse, but what’s coming is worth the hasty delivery! If you sneak back to the homepage (not now, wait for it…) you’ll notice a shiny new link of “tangibles”. There, you can get your very own hold-in-your-hands-goodness of some of the snazzery you see about you in becsketchtopia! Ready your mouse, there’s shopping a foot…and…GO!
